Benefits and Applications

01

Rapid Integration

Reduce time and effort for developing integration architecture and code for different projects, experiments, and prototypes.

02

Compatible

Compatible with EyeWorks™ out-of-the-box or easily apply to most other data types using the included SDK.

03

Data from Anywhere

Integrate and synchronize data from multiple sensors, people, and tasks.

Multiple Physiological Sensors

Quad Server™ simplifies the common problem of managing data collected simultaneously from various physiological sensors (e.g., eye tracking, EEG, fNIR, EKG, GSR). Data rates and formats for each sensor can be processed independently as Quad Server™ organizes the data from each source. This software is also capable of incorporating non-physiological task data. For example, in a simulator environment, you may wish to record throttle movements and vehicle sensor data in addition to physiological data.

Team Environments

Whether you are monitoring a team or a group of individuals, Quad Server™ allows you to integrate data from multiple participants running simultaneously. For example, in a Command and Control task, you may wish to collect eye tracking data on several members of the group at the same time. This can be easily accomplished. Connect EyeWorks to the Quad Server™, start recording, and the data will be automatically sent to the database.

Real-Time Human-in-the-Loop Prototyping

In addition to receiving data, the Quad Server™ allows access to other networked software applications. This capability is beneficial to those interested in developing additional functionality. One possible use is linking physiological classifiers (neural nets, etc.) to synchronized real-time data. You may also integrate automation agents designed to adapt user interfaces in response to physiological changes. Adaptability is one of Quad Server™’s most notable features.
